22-year-old singer and pianist, Kodi Lee, stunned the judges and audience at “America’s Got Talent” with an incredible cover of Donny Hathaway’s “A Song for You.” Kodi showed the world that being blind and autistic would not stifle his amazing talent. After a brief pep talk from his mother, Tina Lee, Kodi gave a breathtaking performance bringing the crowd and judges to silence with the power of his playing. At the end of his audition, the entire theater erupted with cheers and gave a standing ovation. Through tears of joy and inspiration, Judge Julianne Hough gave Kodi the first Golden Buzzer of Season 19. “Through music and entertaining, he was able to withstand living in this world. Because when you’re autistic, it is really hard to do what everyone else does. It actually has saved his life, playing music” – Tina Lee
